Here are some key features of "P2P Posse":
HTTP Port:
· P2P Posse has a built in mini web server that will serve a Who's Sharing web page at the specified port. Port 0 disables, Port 80 is the standard web port and Port 8080 is a good choice for those already running a web server.
User File:
· A username and password file that allows you to give users a unique username and password. This file is a simple text file that has a line for each user.
Web Page:
· Web page authentication is the advanced authentication method. It will allow you to integrate P2P Posse in to an existing Members Only web site, such as a pay site. Simply enter an URL to a password protected web page. P2P Posse will test your users logins to see if they work at the protected web page specified. If they work, the user is permitted to log on to your file sharing network!
DynDNS Support:
· P2P Posse has a built in DynDNS updater client. DynDNS is a free service that provides Domain Names for those with dynamic IP Addresses. You can create a Domain Name like myp2p.gotdns.com and your users will use that address to reach your network.
Limitations:
· It will not download while unattended for more than five minutes
· It will also remind you to purchase your copy periodically

Easier setup for regular users:
· The host user can now create "Key" files. Regular users drop the Key file on the Basic Setup screen and it automatically performs setup!
P2PBot:
· P2PBot automatically downloads for you when a peer connection is made. Just turn on P2PBot and leave.
