Das Firefox-Projekt (ehemals Firebird, die früher Phoenix) ist eine Neugestaltung der Mozilla-Browser-Komponente, geschrieben mit der XUL-Sprache der Benutzeroberfläche und so konzipiert, dass Cross-Plattform.
